In a foretaste of things to come, three men are on the run from the world dictator, Stefan Temple, and they observe a Christian being executed for his faith. In an explanation of John Bailey’s current job, a young boy challenges his addictions effectively, and he becomes an addiction clinic counselor. The privileged patients in his addiction clinic, however, resist God in their therapy. Addicts in the clinic think they'll wind up in heaven just because they think they're good people. John’s son is sent home for wearing a Jesus t-shirt and he argues with the principal over the issue. A news reporter is criticized for coverage of Stefan Temple, a new media mogul famous for feeding the poor. However, in a secret meeting, the Order plots a one-world government with Temple as its head, in the mistaken belief that it will permanently end war. People both for and against God’s presence in our culture argue with institutions that don’t mirror their opinions. A TV comic makes fun of atheists, but talk show guests and callers are furious over those who don’t share their views. Taylor, an American Christian college student in Jerusalem, tries to connect with Jewish students about his faith. To him, it’s the most important thing he’s ever done. The Jewish college students debate Stefan Temple's ascent to power. An old pastor passes his prison ministry on to a younger man. Talk shows are abuzz with the sudden appearance of Stefan Temple, a peacemaker in the Middle East, who meets in his office with European bankers. Temple begins a meteoric rise to power, and the Presidency of the European Union is thrust upon him, supposedly against his non-political aims. U.S. Senator Bell warns of satanic influences in Temple's appearance on the world scene, but Senator Talbot laughs at his allegations. Senator Talbot is revealed to be an operative of Temple. A powerful earthquake in Jerusalem demolishes Muslim structures on the Dome of the Rock and the Wailing Wall. Temple offers to help begin the Third Temple rebuilding, carve a Palestinian state out of neighboring countries and to help relocate the Dome of the Rock. Dissent is quickly squashed by economic and military embargoes. Israel signs a seven-year protection treaty with Temple. All the Earth's Christians and every child are raptured. Rumors of alien abduction gain credibility. John Bailey is raptured at his clinic. 70% of U.S. armed forces personnel, the President and members of his cabinet have also vanished. The five college students in Jerusalem watch as Taylor, the American Christian, is raptured before their eyes. Senator Talbot, seduced by Temple's flattery, addresses the U.S. on TV, urging all to accept Stefan Temple's plans for the future. A fake assassination attempt is made on Stefan Temple, but the attacker is shot to silence him. In a hospital room, Stefan Temple is alive and laughing at the illusion of death and resurrection they have pulled off on the world. Temple's media outlets have spun their misinformation about the assassination that fools the world of unbelievers left behind. Temple reluctantly accepts the post of Chairman of the World Federation and declares a "voluntary" ID program to bring about a cashless society.
The Arab Confederation
attacks Israel and Russia decides it must invade to grab the great wealth
of the area for itself. Temple changes the year designation from A.D.
to T.D. and begins the destruction of references to God and Jesus. Stefan
Temple consolidates all the World Federation armies under his control.
God destroys the Russian army. A recalcitrant Jason refuses to believe the truth of the Rapture, and resists coming to God. James tries to tell him angels will rejoice when he does. The False Prophet claims to be in direct contact with God. The Antichrist calls for teenagers to join his legions of enforcers, and requires everyone to wear his "mark." Satan, who will henceforth dwell inside Temple so that he can enjoy the worship demanded of the world, visits Temple. A new Christian living in the Tribulation has not accepted the "mark" and is forced to buy food on the black market from uncaring profiteers. Temple, the Antichrist, and Reuben Dan, the False Prophet have demanded worldwide acceptance of his "mark," and declare war on those who resist. Two street prophets have been preaching in Jerusalem for 3 ½ years against the brutal dictator and the imminent return of Christ; they are murdered on the street, but are resurrected by God. A man and his son head for the wilderness of Canada to escape the tyrant's troops. The Antichrist declares himself a god on the rebuilt Third Temple. Temple is furious at Jews who have screamed "Blasphemy!" at his coronation. 144,000 Jewish witnesses spread the Good News of Christ throughout the world. A Jerusalem-based underground railway group hides one of them, and they are warned of impending events. Two Hebrew University college students have heard one of the 144,000 speak and have now come to Christ. They explain the facts to their friends and tell them that they must leave Jerusalem for the mountains. A startling, worldwide
event occurs that is seen by every person on the earth - angels appear,
preaching the Gospel. The dictator's media spreads disinformation of
the event as a holographic projection by Christian dissidents. If Stefan
Temple thought that God was dead, that God was impotent or that God
was just not interested any more in what happened on Earth, then he
was sadly mistaken and ill-advised. Many groups that have been left behind in the Tribulation refuse to believe what is going on. A man is on the run alone, catching midnight freight trains to find a way to safety from the tyrant's troops. Soldiers appear at the clinic's doors to arrest Paul for his proselytizing, but he escapes out a back door. The war to destroy Israel gathers momentum. A loud voice from heaven exclaims, "It is done!" A worldwide earthquake destroys virtually everything. Huge hailstones rain down, but people curse God instead of asking His forgiveness. The glorified presence of the Son of God appears for the entire world to see, flanked by His holy angels and an army of the white-robed saints of His Church. Armageddon commences - not one battle, but many - where all the surviving armies of the world join to exterminate the people of Israel. The armies of the Antichrist turn from Israel to attack Christ. With a breath of
His mouth, Jesus destroys every hate-filled enemy facing Israel. The
Antichrist and his False Prophet are seized alive by an angel. An angel
with a great chain seizes Satan, who is instantly bound in the chains
and disappears into a smoking hole. Those with the Mark of the Beast
are annihilated. Lifeless bodies are devoured by wild beasts and carrion
birds called to a feast. Choirs sing the finale song. Local pastors lead an altar call. |
